US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said there is a window for a diplomatic solution to the crisis around Ukraine. It is reported by Reuters.
According to the leaders of the countries, Russia still has the opportunity to step back and “prevent a catastrophe in Ukraine.” During a telephone conversation, they stressed that a further invasion of Ukraine would lead to a protracted crisis, fraught with serious consequences for both Russia and the whole world.
Since the fall of 2021, the West and Kiev have been accusing Moscow of preparing an invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, the Kremlin stated that these statements were unfounded.
