LG and Samsung TVs topped the corresponding rating of Roskachestvo. This is stated in a press release at the disposal of the editorial board of “Lenta.ru”.
Representatives of the organization noted that for the first time they conducted a large-scale study of televisions. Experts tested 201 models of brands LG, Phillips, Samsung, Sony and HiSense. These devices were tested against several criteria, such as picture quality, sound quality, usability and Smart TV. The total range of prices was from 10 830 to 299 990 rubles. It turned out that the principle “the higher the price, the better the quality” was generally observed and the first lines of the rating were taken by the most expensive devices.
In particular, the first three places in the consolidated rating were taken by LG and Samsung TVs, estimated in the range from 129,990 to 189,990 rubles. The highest scores were received by devices with a larger screen diagonal – this rule is correct for devices with diagonals 55-58 and 60-65 inches. It turned out that the most recent models by year of production did not necessarily become the best in the opinion of experts. Also, representatives of Roskachestvo clarified that models with advanced 8K technology are not superior to 4K models.
Additionally, the organization has compiled a rating of the best TVs with a diagonal of 40-51 inches according to various criteria. For example, the overall top device was headed by LG 50UM7500PLA 50 worth 39,990 rubles, while LG 49SM8050PLC 49 worth 42,990 rubles was in the first place in the TV rating in terms of image quality. The model with the best sound and the most convenient Smart TV function was named TV LG 49NANO816NA 49, priced at 52,990 rubles.
Before starting the study, experts conducted a survey of users to find out their preferences regarding this segment of electronics. It turned out that 63 percent of respondents have a TV with a diagonal of 40 to 51 inches, 62 percent more often pay attention to the presence of Smart TV, 31 percent – to the image quality, 24 percent – by the year of product release.
