Belarusian oppositionist Protasevich sentenced to 6 years in prison

The girl of the oppositionist Roman Protasevich, Russian Sofia Sapega, was sentenced in Belarus to 6 years in prison.

Sapega wrote a petition for clemency.

Protasevich's girlfriend Sofia Sapega was detained with him and placed in a temporary detention center.

In Minsk she is charged with hate speech. According to the investigation, Sapieha ran a telegram channel that made public the personal data of the Belarusian security forces.

Russian Sofia Sapega wrote a petition for clemency addressed to Alexander Lukashenko.
