Belarusian athletes supported the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko. Their open letter is published by Tut.by
The athletes stated that sport should not be associated with politics and that they represent the real sports community of the country, as opposed to “pseudo-sports structures that defame the sports movement.” It is noted that the support of the state helped athletes to win at international competitions.
