The main focus of the inspection in Belarus is on the Air Force and Air Defense units.
The next stage of the inspection of military units began in Belarus on September 30. It is headed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense. The main focus is on the readiness of military units, as well as Air Force and Air Defense units to carry out their tasks.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
The inspection process provides for a gradual expansion of measures to involve all training grounds of the Armed Forces in conducting combat training missions. Military personnel, including those liable for military service called up from the reserve, will need to complete a number of tasks to prepare weapons and equipment for use and go to certain areas.
During the inspection, military equipment is planned to be moved, which may entail temporary traffic restrictions on certain sections of roads.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the beginning of the autumn conscription for military service, starting on October 1. This conscription will involve 133 thousand people, which is 3,000 more than in the previous autumn campaign.
