< p>It seems that Belarus does not consider any nation as an enemy.

Belarus< /strong> is ready to resume “pragmatic dialogue” with NATO member countries. However, conditions were set in Minsk – if the states abandon “aggressive rhetoric.”

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Belarus Viktor Khrenin, Zerkalo reports.

According to him, Minsk allegedly demonstrated interest in “renewing the influence of international security organizations such as the UN, OSCE and others, and their effective functioning in preventing and resolving armed clashes.”

“In the draft doctrine (the new Military Doctrine of Belarus – Ed.) we say that the Republic of Belarus is open to cooperation in the military sphere with any states. In particular, NATO states. We are ready to resume a pragmatic dialogue if they stop aggressive rhetoric and actions towards us,” Khrenin emphasized.

The Minister noted that the Military Doctrine states that Belarus does not consider any nation as an enemy – regardless of the actions of governments.

“In our policy, we are not going to look back at anyone or adapt to anyone. We have the interests of our peoples, we have mutual allied obligations. Only these factors will be at the forefront of our decisions and actions, both independently and in within the framework of the Union State,” said Viktor Khrenin.

Recall that earlier the dictator of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that hopes for the resumption of relations with the EU countries. In particular, we are talking about Poland and Lithuania.
