Tens of millions of dollars will be spent on the construction of military facilities.
Belarus will start in 2023, the construction of a new training ground and a military camp in the Gomel region of the country near the border with Ukraine.

They informed that according to the state investment program of Belarus for 2023 a year, the construction of a number of new military infrastructure facilities is envisaged.
Thus, the construction of a new military camp will start in the Gomel region. The cost of this in 2023-2025 will amount to 18 million 377 thousand dollars. It is planned to complete the construction by 2027.
At the same time, the construction of a landfill in the Gomel region for 2023-2025 provides for an amount of 11 million 98,980 dollars.
The project reminded that At the end of May 2022, Belarus announced the creation of a new (third) operational command of the armed forces – the South. It is assumed that the construction of a training ground in the Gomel region may be associated with the formation of new military units for the Southern Operational Command.
Recall that the State Border Service informed on February 5 that a second offensive by Russian troops from the territory of Belarus is still unlikely. The border guards do not detect strike groups there that could start an invasion.
