Belarus threatens Ukraine with “local conflict”

by alex

State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich accused Ukraine of an allegedly unfriendly position towards his country and announced the possibility of a so-called local conflict.

– We mainly paid attention to the protection of the western borders – with Poland, Lithuania. Today, our southern neighbor Ukraine has begun to take an unfriendly position towards Belarus, although Belarusians and Ukrainians have always lived in peace, harmony and good neighborliness, Volfovich said.

He also said that the Ukrainian leadership allegedly took a course not on a peace-loving policy.

– They look to the West (or dictate to them) and try, under the guise of combating illegal migration, to conduct any exercises … practically on the state border of Belarus. This could lead to a local conflict, says the State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council.

Over the past few weeks, Ukraine has urgently strengthened the protection of the state border with Belarus in connection with the migration crisis.

< p> To curb the possible flow of migrants and prevent the scenario that arose on the Polish-Belarusian border, Ukraine launched a special operation Polesie.

As noted by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, if migrants try to break through to Ukraine, all available forces and the funds of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be in place within 30 minutes.
