Belarus has pledged to provide military assistance to its allies – updated doctrine

The military doctrine also talks about Ukraine.

Belarus has enshrined in its military doctrine the provision of assistance to its allies. We are talking about sending the military.

This is evidenced by the updated military doctrine of Belarus.

“Belarus considers it possible to provide military assistance to friendly states on the basis of bilateral and multilateral international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, in particular, by sending military contingents to participate in relevant activities to maintain international peace and security,” the document shows.

Belarus also considers any actions using military force directed against members of the Union State as an encroachment in general and “will take appropriate retaliatory measures using all forces and means at its disposal.” < /p>

Moreover, the document states that Belarus will be ready to provide any assistance, including military assistance, to a CSTO member country in the event of aggression against it.

The military doctrine also mentions Ukraine. In particular, Belarus believes that the “collective West” provoked a “military conflict” in Ukraine, thereby creating a “hotbed of tension near the borders of Belarus” in the near future.

“Further support for it and obstruction of a peaceful settlement create the preconditions for its escalation and gradual expansion of the number of participants at the expense of Poland and other NATO countries. These trends increase the likelihood of the Republic of Belarus being involved in an international armed conflict,” the document says .

Recall that the Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko, during a speech at the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly, threatened with “apocalypse”, saying that the Russian Federation would use its entire available arsenal in the event of a threat of missile strikes on its territory.
