Suspicions of Lavrynovych and Grishchenko were announced in absentia by the Office of the Prosecutor General and the State Bureau of Investigation.

Two ex-ministers from the time of fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych, who prepared the “Kharkov Agreements”, have been put on the state and international wanted list.

This is reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.

We are talking about ex-head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Konstantin Grishchenko and former head of the Ministry of Justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych.

“The SBI investigator put on the state and international wanted list two former ministers of the Yanukovych era, who were suspected of treason for preparing Kharkiv agreements,” the report says.

Also, employees of the SBI plan to apply to the court to choose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the former Minister of Justice and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

According to the investigation, in April 2010, the suspects, by prior agreement with the then President Yanukovych and Prime Minister Azarov, agreed on agreements to the detriment of Ukraine and in favor of Russia.

After the signing and ratification of the documents, the period of stay of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the territory of Ukraine was extended by 25 years. Russia should withdraw the fleet from the Ukrainian Crimea in 2017. I was able to increase and strengthen it.

Both Lavrinovich and Grishchenko are now abroad, according to the investigation.

According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the next step will be to obtain permission from the court to detain them, then the application for a preventive measure in the form of detention, in parallel, the investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation will apply for extradition.

Recall that earlier in the Office of the President they commented on the suspicions of the ex-ministers of justice and foreign affairs of the times of Yanukovych – Lavrynovych and Grishchenko, declaring the dismantling of the pro-Russian political and economic systems.
