In Berlin, in a number of supermarkets and the adjacent federal state of Brandenburg in boxes with bananas found bundles of cocaine. Drugs were found in 11 stores.
This is reported by the Brandenburg State Police.
“Employees discovered suspicious packages in several supermarkets in Brandenburg and Berlin,” the message says.
It is noted that the packages were hidden in boxes of bananas. A rapid test confirmed that they contained cocaine.
In total, according to law enforcement, packages of drugs (volume from 20 to 100 kg) ended up in 11 supermarkets.
Recall that in Germany, police and customs officers confiscated a record amount of cocaine for 2023 – 35 tons. Most drugs enter the country through shipping containers from South America.
