Bahrain starts vaccination against coronavirus with Sputnik V

In Bahrain, vaccination of the population against the coronavirus infection COVID-19 with the Russian drug Sputnik V has begun, the Kingdom's Ministry of Health said.

“As part of the country's ongoing vaccination campaign, Bahrain is starting coronavirus vaccination with the Sputnik V vaccine,” reads a Twitter post.

The Ministry of Health also recalled that in Bahrain, the use of four vaccines against coronavirus is allowed, including the Chinese Sinopharm, the American-German Pfizer-BioNTech, the British-Swedish AstraZeneca and the Russian Sputnik V, so residents can choose the one that suits them.

Earlier it was reported that Sputnik V was registered in Bahrain.
