In particular, the news about the meetings between Biden and Xi was also not good for Russia. The Kremlin dictator hoped more than ever for help from China, but they demonstrated that they were not ready to provide it.
American political strategist and political scientist Jason Smart said this on FREEDOM.
Everything is very bad
According to the political scientist, Putin had great hopes of getting at least something from China – money, weapons, diplomatic assistance.
“But the Chinese have already shown: “Yes, Putin, okay, we can say that you are our friend.” In fact, when it is necessary to do something for Russia, they are not really ready to help Putin – they are ready to give Russia empty words and nothing more. But with the Americans, they know that the market is much more important than the Russian market,” the specialist explained.
We can expect, he adds, that in the future China will work even closer with the Americans, and even less with Russia.
