Police found 45 bags of drugs (cocaine, ecstasy and methamphetamine) and a safe with more than 43,000 euros.

Izzat Javadova, a British-Azerbaijani, was arrested during a raid on a lavish party in Greece DJ, who is a cousin of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The Daily Mail reports this.

The raid took place on December 30 at an elite villa in Kalyvia near Athens. Police found 45 bags of drugs (cocaine, ecstasy and methamphetamine) and a safe with more than 43,000 euros. Among the 13 detained was 44-year-old Javadova, known by her stage name Mikaela Java.

Police also arrested three off-duty police officers who were providing security for the event. The investigation is ongoing, and some of the accused have admitted to possessing drugs for personal use.

Javadova said she did not organize the party or distribute invitations. In comments to Greek TV channel ERT, she called the event a “techno-Berlin party dedicated to music and love” and said the accusation was “an attack on the LGBT community.”

Izzat Javadova is the daughter of the late brother of former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev. She grew up in the UK, where she founded the promotion company Love The Underground Records. She is known to live in a £4million flat in central London and also owns a townhouse in Richmond-upon-Thames.

Izzat is a regular on the exclusive party island of Ibiza, where she reportedly owns a seaside villa.

Greek police released video of the raid, which showed bags of drugs, large amounts of cash and DJ booths. The owner of the villa claimed that Javadova had rented the property for €1,000 but it was damaged during the party.

Javadova and other attendees are suspected of drug trafficking. Her detention became yet another scandal involving members of the Azerbaijani elite.

Recall that four people who organized the production and sale of amphetamine will appear in court in Kiev. Among the defendants is a married couple who equipped a drug lab in their own apartment.
