Azerbaijan Tightens Rules of Stay for Russian Citizens

Azerbaijan has restricted the stay of Russian citizens.

Russians will no longer be able to stay in the country for more than 90 days during one calendar year.

This is reported on the government website countries.

“Russian citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation and arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan without a visa cannot stay in the country for more than 90 days during one calendar year,” the resolution says.

Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that photos and videos from the crash site of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane, which crashed on December 25 in Kazakhstan, eloquently testify to Russia's responsibility for the tragedy.
