The head of the state corporation “Roscosmos” Dmitry Rogozin said that in July next year it is planned to launch the automatic station “Luna-25”, the Russian-European mission “Exomars” will start in September 2022.
– Next year in July we are planning a mission to the moon (“Luna-25”). … Well, and September is our “Exomars”, a nine-month mission to Mars, – said Rogozin on the air of Channel One.
Luna-25 will be the first Russian spacecraft on a natural satellite of the Earth. The launch of the Luna-26 mission is planned in 2024, Luna-27 in 2025, and Luna-28 in 2027-2028.
Let us remind you that today, on October 5, the manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-19 will start from the Baikonur cosmodrome, on which the film crew of the first ever feature film in open space will go to the ISS. They will serve as flight engineers. The seat of flight engineer-1 to the left of the commander will be occupied by Klim Shipenko, and flight engineer-2 to the right will be occupied by Yulia Peresild.
