It was decided to check the handwriting of residents of an entire district in one of the cities of the Pyeongando province in North Korea in order to catch those who painted the wall with forbidden graffiti with anti-government slogans. The Daily Mail reports.

The caption read: “Down with the party officials who live well by exploiting the people.” It is noted that the authorities saw this as criticism of the DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, since the graffiti appeared shortly before the 75th anniversary of the founding of the ruling Korean Workers' Party. At the same time, local residents allegedly liked the graffiti, because they believe that “party officials are wealthy, and normal residents suffer from various hardships every year.”

“The security officials came to the conclusion that the graffiti is an attempt to overthrow the party, an anti-government act that criticizes the highest dignity (we are talking about Kim Jong-un – comment” Lenta.ru “ )” – said one of the local residents. That is why the police began to massively check the handwriting of adults and children in order to find the authors of the drawing. They were forced to write with both their right and left hand. It is alleged that they check not only local residents, but also non-residents who were in the city at the time of the appearance of the graffiti. The investigation continues over the past two weeks, the suspects have not yet been found.

In late June, it became known that North Korea would rebuild propaganda loudspeakers on the southern border. The authorities plan to distribute propaganda leaflets and generally launch a full-scale campaign against the neighboring state.
