Shallenberg called the discussion "unnecessary".
Austria considers it unacceptable to send its military to Ukraine. It's all about neutrality.
This was stated by the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry Alexander Schallenberg on the ORF TV channel.
The Foreign Minister notes that Vienna adheres to the same position as on the supply of military aid to Kyiv. According to him, NATO does not have a consensus on this problem.
“I consider such discussions unnecessary. Obviously, Austria says no. We will maintain neutrality. No deployment of military personnel, no supplies of military material, weapons and ammunition for Ukraine,” Schallenberg emphasized.
Recall that El Pais, citing its own sources, reports that NATO military personnel are already in Ukraine. They control the weapons allocated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as conducting intelligence operations and training.
