The Austrian government has decided to transfer fuel, helmets and body armor to Ukraine.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria Vasily Khiminets said on his Facebook page after meeting with the head of the Austrian government that the European country will also send humanitarian aid .
– Met with Federal Chancellor of Austria Karl Negammer. I received assurances that Austria would continue to provide support and practical assistance to the courageous Ukrainian people on the side of Ukraine. Among the latest decisions of the Federal Government: fuel assistance, the provision of helmets and bulletproof vests , humanitarian supplies,” Ambassador Khiminets wrote.
Earlier, European countries agreed on a decision to transfer 70 aircraft to Ukraine, including fighters and attack aircraft.
