Australia will also allocate 30 million Australian dollars (about $22 million) for humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Ukraine.
Australia will provide additional military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 21 million Australian dollars ($15.5 million).

Military and humanitarian aid
Thus, the volume of military assistance provided to Kiev will amount to 91 million Australian dollars (more than $67 million).
Also, Australia will allocate 30 million Australian dollars (about $22 million) for humanitarian assistance to the civilian population of Ukraine, primarily women, children, the elderly and the disabled. The total amount of humanitarian aid allocated to Ukraine will amount to 65 million Australian dollars (about $48 million).
In addition, the country will exempt from tax aid that will be sent by Australian organizations to countries that directly support Ukrainian refugees: Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary.
Coal
Australia will also support the energy security of Ukraine by transferring at least 70,000 tons of coal. Now Canberra is working with the governments of Ukraine and Poland to deliver the cargo as soon as possible. The cost of coal and its delivery to the port of destination will be reimbursed by the Australian government.
Sanctions against the Russian Federation
Australia has banned the sale of alumina and aluminum ore to Russia. This will limit Russia's ability to produce aluminum, an essential component in the production of weapons and ammunition, mechanical engineering, and the aerospace industry. Russia receives 20% of its own alumina needs from Australia.
In total, Australia imposed 476 sanctions against 443 people, including many oligarchs close to President Putin.
