Belarusian security forces blinded Poles with lasers and searchlights when they tried to prevent illegal border crossings.

Small groups of migrants on December 2 tried to break through the Polish-Belarusian border in several places, in particular, in the area of responsibility of the border outposts in Cheremsa and Narewka.

This is reported by the Polish Border Guard Service.

“Yesterday, on December 2, there were 46 illegal border crossing attempts at the Polish-Belarusian border. Decisions on leaving the territory of Poland were issued against 9 people,” the message says.

It is noted that recently, probably due to a sharp drop in temperature, there have been fewer people trying to illegally cross the Polish border. However, these attempts are becoming more and more aggressive.

According to the police in the Podlaska Voivodeship, Belarusian security forces blinded Poles with lasers and searchlights when they tried to prevent illegal border crossings between the settlements of Opaka and Vulka Terekhovskaya. >

Meanwhile, according to the Polish Ministry of Defense, the first group of Estonian engineering troops has arrived in the country, which will help the Poles build a temporary fence on the border with the Republic of Belarus and support the Polish army while performing other tasks on the border.

Since the beginning of the migration crisis in Poland, Polish services have recorded eight cases of deaths of migrants.
