Russian doctors tried for several days to save the life of a traitor to Ukraine.
Ex-merger of Kupyansk and traitor to Ukraine Gennady Matsegora died in hospital after attempts on his life. He was in critical condition for several days after his injuries.
This was reported by Ukrainian blogger and journalist Denis Kazansky.
“The mayor of Kupyansk Gennady Matsegora, who in 2022 became a collaborator and collaborated with the occupiers, has died in the hospital after an assassination attempt. A few days ago he was shot by unknown assailants in the Belgorod region,” the message says.
Recall that the assassination attempt on collaborator Gennady Matsegora was committed in the Russian city of Stary Oskol on June 7, 2024. Before the outbreak of a full-scale war, he held the position of mayor of Kupyansk and voluntarily surrendered the city to the invaders.
