Attack of Sochi by drones: Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed hit of helicopter parking lot – media

Russian Sochi was attacked by drones.

“Our interlocutor in the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed the defeat of the parking lot during the morning attack by drones, but did not provide details regarding how many helicopters there were and what type,” the message says.

Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan wrote in her Telegram channel that on the night of October 1, drones fell right in front of a house in Adler ( resort town in the Russian Federation – ed.), where she grew up and where her relatives live, adding that “the nuclear ultimatum is increasingly uncontested.”

Drone attack on Sochi

Residents of Sochi reported an explosion near the international airport. According to them, an explosion was heard near the airport, and a column of smoke rose at the site of the impact.

Six flights were also redirected to alternate airfields in Sochi.

The head of Sochi, Alexey Kopaygorodsky, confirmed the flights of unknown drones over Krasnodar region. He stated that air defense forces shot down the UAV.
