Russian long jumper Daria Klishina said she did not know if she would return to her homeland from the United States after the end of her career. Reported by RT.
The athlete clarified that she spent eight years of conscious life in the United States. “I have already settled down and got used to everything here, made friends and acquaintances,” said Klishina.
The athlete also stressed that she recently began to perceive the United States as a home. “But I come to Russia with great pleasure and try to do it as often as possible,” the athlete added.
In December last year, Klishina spoke about life in the United States. She noted that overseas she had to get a credit card, because without a credit history, she could not buy a phone.
Klishina moved to the United States in 2013, where she has lived and trained since then. The athlete is a two-time European champion and a silver medalist at the 2017 World Championship.
