In the apartment where his mother lived with the boy, law enforcement officers found not only abandoned and cluttered rooms, but also a persistent smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke.

According to preliminary information, the woman forced her 12-year-old son to sleep on the floor “for educational purposes”. Immediately next to the quilt, which served as a child's bed, stood a full can of cigarette butts.

After what he saw, law enforcement officers organized the removal of the boy to a children's hospital. Now he is under medical supervision.

On the unfortunate mother, on the same evening, two administrative protocols were drawn up under Article 184 (Failure by parents to raise children) and Article 173-2 (Commission of domestic violence) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Whether the 12-year-old boy has a father is unknown. In the near future, the expediency of the child's stay with the mother will be determined by social services.
