What the police say
Criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 of Article 121 (Deliberate grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In the near future, a 67-year-old woman will receive a notification of suspicion. She could not explain the motives for the brutal attack on her husband's brother.
If the court proves the woman's guilt, she faces five to eight years in prison. The pre-trial investigation continues.
