Consequences of the “cotton” in Russia April 20

  • In the Vygonitsky district of the Bryansk region, a fire broke out at an energy infrastructure facility. Local governor Alexander Bogomaz said that a “downed drone” allegedly fell on the substation. However, in the morning he stated something else – that there were supposedly “no” casualties or destruction.
  • An explosion also occurred at an energy facility in the Kaluga region. Local governor Vladislav Shapsha, in the Maloyaroslavets district near the substation there was “slightly damaged energy infrastructure.”
  • In the Smolensk region, a fuel and energy complex facility is also on fire due to an attack. Governor Vasily Anokhin said that “as a result of falling debris, a container with fuel and lubricants caught fire.” In the area where the attack took place, the Kardymovo oil depot, which belongs to the Lukoil company, is located.
  • In the Kaluga region they also announced some “minor damage” at an electrical substation , because of which only the light went out in some areas.
  • Explosions were also heard outside Belgorod, after which a fire started. In some areas of the city, light and electricity partially disappeared.
