Asus has launched the Chromebook Flip C536 laptop. It is the first Chrome OS device to be powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core (Tiger Lake) processor. The cost of the device in the US will start at $ 569.

The Asus Chromebook Flip C536 was unveiled in January at the CES Consumer Electronics Show. The second Tiger Lake-based Chromebook, the HP Chromebook x360 14c, has yet to be released.

Asus' Chromebook features a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen with stylus support. The screen can be reclined 360 degrees, allowing the Chromebook Flip C536 to be used like a tablet. The device is equipped with a pair of USB-C connectors, USB 3.2 and HDMI 2 ports, as well as a slot for microSD memory cards.

At launch, the Chromebook will be available with a dual-core i3 G4 processor, UHD Graphics, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Later, there should be versions with a more powerful i7 processor and Iris Xe graphics.
