In addition to the compact Zenfone 8, ASUS today unveiled another flagship with the Zenfone 8 Flip PTZ camera.
This model has a larger screen – the diagonal is 6.67 inches. There is no notch in the display, as the camera is located on the swivel module. The screen refresh rate reaches 90 Hz.
Three cameras are built into the swivel module. ASUS promises that this component can be safely opened and closed 150 times a day for 5 years. The main image sensor on the module is a 64MP Sony IMX686. It is complemented by a 12-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The Zenfone 8 Flip is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. The processor is Snapdragon 888 5G.
Prices for the new product start at 799 euros.
