Syrian President Assad supported Putin's Russian colleague in conducting an operation in Donbass

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin held telephone conversations and, in particular, discussed Moscow's special military operation in the Donbass. The Syrian politician supported Putin in his decision to launch it, the Kremlin press service reports.
It is noted that the talks were held at the initiative of official Damascus.
