A conflict between some Islamic and Arab countries and Turkey is possible.
The fall of the dictator Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria could get out of US control and lead to a conflict that will involve countries in the region and Turkey.
This was stated by Iranian Ambassador to Syria Hossein Akbari, CNN reports.
According to Akbari, events in the region will get out of US control:
“I believe that events in the region will get out of American control and could seriously hinder their strategic goals.”
According to him, the fall of the Iran-backed Assad government “created a difficult situation between northern and southern forces in Syria, which could lead to a conflict between some Islamic and Arab countries with Turkey.”
Akbari spoke about the risk of losing security in Syria society:
“Considering the current circumstances, the diversity of views and the numerous interventions of different countries, there is a risk of loss of security in Syrian society.”
Recall that the day before it became known about clashes in northeastern Syria between Kurdish forces and opposition groups.
