“In testing, GraphCast demonstrated better performance than the world's leading traditional system used by ECMWF in cases,” the study says.
At the same time, the model has certain limitations, in particular, it cannot provide detailed long-term forecasts or predict hurricanes. Which is why it is inferior to traditional technologies.
