The move from ÖFB star Marko Arnautovic to Bologna FC will be a test of patience – now the transfer is even a case for lawyers.
Arnautovic and the Italian club have long since agreed, the Viennese have already agreed to a transfer and a three-year contract. But there is still no enforcement report, Shanghai is causing problems.
Although the Chinese have already agreed to terminate the contract with the 32-year-old, the matter is impaled in one last detail.
Arnautovic wants to collect four million euros as severance payment, Shanghai does not want to pay that. So there is still no release from China.
Bologna has now even called on their lawyers to support Arnautovic in negotiations with his club. The Chinese are currently refusing to contact the “Rossoblu” either.
A tricky situation, should the transfer not be resolved within the next two weeks, Bologna wants to look around for an Arnautovic alternative.
