Marko Arnautovic completed the first test run with his new club. He just missed a goal for Bologna.
The Serie A club tested against the Italian second division team Pordenone Calcio. Arnautovic, who moved to Bologna from China club Shanghai Port, was in the starting line-up of his new team. The ÖFB legionnaire narrowly missed a goal, but in the 42nd minute he thundered the ball onto the crossbar, team-mate Nicolas Dominguez failed in the margin on the pole.
For “Arnie” the working day was over during the break, for him Federico Santander came on. The Bologna fans were able to look forward to a clear 4-2 victory in the end. The goals for the first division team were scored by Lorenzo De Silvestri (17th), Dominguez (37th), Emanuel Vignato (49th) and Santander (81st).
