The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry announced the destruction of a combat aircraft of the Armenian Air Force. In Yerevan, these reports were called “absolute lies.”
“On the afternoon of October 24, a combat aircraft of the Armenian Air Force was shot down by Azerbaijani air defense units in the Gubadli direction of the front,” the message of the Azerbaijani armed forces says.
In turn, the press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan rejected this statement.
“This is an absolute lie,” she told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Baku accused the Armenian side of rocket and artillery shelling in the Goranboy and Terter regions.
The official representative of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan accused the Azerbaijani side of shelling peaceful settlements, including Stepanakert.
