Armenian politicians are called upon to break all military and economic agreements with Russia.
A number of public and political forces call on the Armenian authorities to immediately begin the process of leaving the CSTO, the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union), the CIS and apply for membership in the European Union.
They made such a statement during the Independence Forum on October 1, the Armenian service reports Radio Liberty.
During their speech, they condemn “threats from Russia and Azerbaijan to the independence and territorial integrity of Armenia.” They also called on Armenian politicians to immediately and radically reconsider relations with the Russian Federation.
“Nowadays, the anti-Armenian position and policy pursued by the Russian authorities, the victims of which were the Armenian people of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh – ed.), are not only bad , but they also further deepen the gap that has arisen between Armenia and Russia in recent years, making it practically irremovable, which creates an urgent need for a radical revision of the entire existing legal framework between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation,” they note.
They announced the “forced depatriation of Artsakh Armenians through famine and military aggression,” comparing this with “Russian aggression and genocide against the people of Ukraine.”

Recall that the head of the French Foreign Ministry is going to Armenia to confirm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
