The Armenian government has filed an interstate complaint against Azerbaijan with the European Court of Human Rights. This is stated in a message published on the Facebook page of the Armenian representation to the ECHR.
“The Armenian government claims that Azerbaijan violated the right to life, the prohibition of torture and inhuman treatment, the right to freedom, the right to property, the right to private and family life, the right to education, as well as a number of other convention rights of the population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and Armenia, ”the message says.
Evidence was attached to the statement, the office noted. In addition, the Armenian side promised to provide the court with a large amount of evidence on the claims already filed.
