The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported that an aircraft of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces was shot down by air defense forces in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“Today at 08:30 the air defense forces of Nagorno-Karabakh shot down an aircraft of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the southern direction. The situation continues to remain stably tense, ”the official representative of the military department Shushan Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.
At the same time, it is not specified which plane it was.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has already stated that the information about the downed plane “is a lie and another invention of the Armenian military propaganda machine.”
Earlier, Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on a humanitarian truce in Nagorno-Karabakh from midnight on October 18. Both sides accused each other of violating the agreements.
