The Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian tank unit in the Chernihiv region. It planned to move in the direction of Kyiv.

On March 13, the Russian occupying troops attacked Chernihiv from the air at night. An enemy bomb hit a local high-rise building.
According to the State Emergency Service, one person was previously killed and one injured. Seven more residents were rescued.
During the day, 10 fire attacks were recorded in Chernihiv, as a result of five of them fires broke out.
