Advisor to the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich said that there were no significant changes in the nature of hostilities or the advancement of the enemy during the day. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the defense forces hold occupied lines.
Arestovich spoke about this during a briefing.
According to him, there are tactical battles of local importance. The main areas where the forces of the Russian enemy are concentrated are: Izyum, Volnovakha, Mariupol, Kherson, Nikolaev.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed several rear columns of the invaders in the Sumy and Nikolaev regions. According to preliminary data, the commander of the 8th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation was killed.
