The Ukrainian military inflicted significant losses on Russian troops as of 15.00, according to Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar.
Losses of the Russian Armed Forces since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine:
- manpower – 2.8 thousand military;
- tanks – up to 80 units;
- armored combat vehicles of various types – 516;
- aircraft – 10;
- helicopters – seven.
Only as a result of fighting near Mariupol on February 25, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 22 Russian tanks.
On February 24, Russia invaded Ukraine. Explosions were heard near Kiev, Kharkov, Dnieper, Odessa, Nikolaev. For the second day, the Ukrainian military is rebuffing the aggressor, and the Russians are suffering heavy losses.
