A team of archaeologists in Egypt made an unusual discovery – they discovered an L-shaped structure and several other anomalies near the Giza pyramids.
Heritage Daily writes about this.
As noted, archaeologists have discovered an L-shaped structure in the area of the Giza pyramids. This may have been due to the use of electrical resistivity tomography and ground penetrating radar.
At a depth of two meters, they discovered an L-shaped structure filled with sand. Scientists believe this may be a tunnel leading to a deeper part of the mastaba. The remaining anomalies were discovered by archaeologists at a depth of 3.5-5 meters. Their depth reached 11 meters.
At the same time, mastaba is considered to be an ancient tomb. Important people such as high-ranking officers and members of the royal family were buried in such tombs. Scientists could not explain the exact nature of the detected anomalies. They may be part of a large burial complex hidden underground.
Recall that the popularity of camel riding inspired the creation of special traffic lights in the middle of the desert in China.
