Archaeologists have discovered a unique chariot in Pompeii
Archaeologists have found an almost completely preserved four-wheeled chariot at the site of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, according to the site of the archaeological park.
According to scientists, the chariot is “a unique find that has survived in excellent condition and has no analogues in Italy.”
The ancient Roman city of Pompeii, located near Naples, was first discovered in 1592, but excavations did not begin until 1748.
Earlier it was reported that in the Volgograd region archaeologists have found an ancient man's site. Among the finds were scrapers, bifacial tools, flakes and microliths.
