Apple's virtual reality headset will focus on gaming, media viewing and communication. Reported by the edition 9to5mac.
Reporters link to the Power On newsletter from Bloomberg author Mark Gurman. In his report, the specialist said that he does not consider the future VR headset from the American company to be a full-fledged replacement for a smartphone, as many experts positioned it. According to him, first of all, the device will be focused on launching games: “Apple is positioning the device as a dream for game developers.”
That is why, the author explained, the gadget will receive multiple processors, a fan, extremely high-resolution displays and its own app store. Gurman also believes that the named VR device will be designed for communication of a new format. “The new animoji and advanced FaceTime will make the 'next generation' Zoom headset,” explained Mark Gurman.
Gourmet had previously suggested that such a device would be quite expensive. The specialist estimated the future Apple device at 3 thousand dollars, or about 210 thousand rubles.
In late November, reputable insider Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple's first VR headset would ship in late 2022. The analyst noted that the VR headset will operate autonomously from a computer or smartphone and support a “wide range of applications.”
