Apple claims that the safety and privacy of users is a priority for the company. Yesterday she introduced the new privacy features and once again reminded her of her public position. As it turned out, the privacy of Apple users is not preserved in all countries.
Apple yesterday talked about the Private Relay feature that comes with iCloud +. This option has been nicknamed “Apple VPN”. It allows you to hide the user's actions on the Internet. The Verge writes that Private Relay will not be available in China, Belarus, Colombia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkmenistan, Uganda and the Philippines.
The move is a concession Apple has to make in order to offer its services in these countries. China, for example, accounts for almost 15% of the company's revenues.
