According to journalists, the presentation of the computer will take place in the coming months. In 2020, the Mac mini became one of the first products from the company to receive the proprietary M1 chip. A high-end Mac mini with an M1X processor is due soon.
The new model will have an updated design and more ports. At the beginning of the month, journalists wrote that the next Mac mini will appear shortly after the release of the new MacBook Pro.
According to YouTuber Jon Prosser, the upcoming M1X-based minicomputer will also introduce a new generation of industrial design for Apple's standalone Mac. According to him, the 2021 Mac mini will receive a reflective coating reminiscent of plexiglass.
