According to one of Apple analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, the company will most likely launch the first foldable device with a flexible screen on the market no earlier than 2023. The analyst noted that the gadget will receive an 8-inch flexible screen with QHD + resolution.
Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman confirms his words. He writes that the prototype of the smartphone has already been developed. But, given how many plans Apple has to release new devices, it's not worth waiting for a new product in the near future. According to him, this will not happen until 2023.
It is noted that Apple has patented several variants of its flexible screen for foldable iPhones.
