Apple intends to release an update to its devices, after which they will allow users to find out exactly what information the applications collect about them.
The update will be presented next week at Apple's developer conference, RBC writes. The company has planned to show a dashboard that will track the activity of third-party apps. Through it, it will be possible to find out what kind of data and in what volume are collected. So Apple wants to fight the most “aggressive” applications in terms of collecting information.
Another update that Apple is preparing will allow setting user status for incoming notifications. It will be possible to indicate that you are asleep, and notifications will not disturb. The company is also preparing an updated screen lock for iPhone and iPad.
