Apple unveils purple iPhone and hidden object device
Apple has introduced new devices, including an app for tracking the location of items, writes RBC.
Among the new products is the redesigned iMac computer, which has become thinner and more compact. The device is equipped with two silent cooling fans and a more powerful processor. The computer easily syncs with the iPhone, and an Ethernet cable is connected to the power adapter.
Also introduced is the new iPad Pro with a high-resolution display measuring 12.9 inches for the older model and 11 inches for the younger model. The model supports 5G mobile networks. There is a possibility of professional editing of photo and video materials.
iMac and iPad Pro are powered by Apple's M1 processor.
The company also unveiled the iPhone 12 in purple.
In addition, the AirTag tracker for hidden objects is presented. The tracker attaches to an item to track its location. Apple emphasizes that the tag is not intended to track people and will not contain its owner's location data.
Among the new products and the updated set-top box Apple TV 4K. The device with memory from 32 to 64 GB supports DolbyVision and HDR formats.
It is also reported that the new iMac, iPad Pro and Apple TV 4K will be available for pre-order in Russia from April 30 and will go on sale in the second half of May. AirTag sales will be announced later. The cost of the new iMac will be from 129.99 thousand rubles, iPad Pro – from 77.99 thousand, Apple TV 4K – from 16.99 thousand rubles. AirTags will cost from 2.99 thousand rubles.
Earlier it was reported that in Brazil, Apple was issued a fine for selling smartphones without a charger. The amount of the fine was $ 1.9 million.
