As part of the online presentation of new products, Apple has introduced two new tablets – the basic Pad model and the compact iPad mini. Receiving orders for new items is already open, and tablets will appear on sale next week.
iPad got the new A13 Bionic processor, which increased the device's performance by 20%. The model has improved cameras, and the front one received a wide-angle 12 megapixel lens with the “Spotlight” function from the iPad Pro. The screen has received True Tone for adjusting the color to the lighting in the room. The tablet will enter the market with the operating system iPad OS 15. The base tablet will receive 64 GB of internal memory and will cost from $ 329.
More serious updates were received by the compact iPad mini – the design of the case is made in the style of the iPhone 12, the Touch ID button is now built into the power key. More powerful processor and graphics are announced, as well as an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with True Tone. The tablet received a USB-C connector, support for 5G cellular networks, as well as updated 12 megapixel cameras – the main one can record video in 4K, and the front one also has a “Spotlight” function. Reworked speakers that have a stereo effect in the landscape orientation of the tablet. The new iPad mini will start at $ 499. At the same time, iPad mini supports the 2nd generation Apple Pencil stylus, while the basic iPad only supports the 1st generation of the accessory.
